To our Town of Kent Residents regarding precautions during the COVID-19 outbreak:

If you are quarantined (mandatory or self-imposed) in your home due to possible or confirmed COVID-19 exposure, PLEASE notify the Lake Carmel Fire Department, either confidentially by emailing chief@lcfd.com or by placing a sign/note on your front door to alert our firefighters and EMTs to take infection-prevention precautions before entering your home.

The Fire Department needs to protect their crews so that they will be able to continue to meet the emergency needs of the community. There has been an entire fire company quarantined in Westchester county after they responded to a quarantined home and were not alerted before entering: that's 5 firefighters unavailable to help anyone else for 14 days!

Thank you - we are here for you!

PS, if you do not live in the Lake Carmel Fire District, it is a good idea to alert the emergency services providers in your area!
THANK YOU BEDFORD FD FOR THE ABOVE TIP!!!
