At 5:11pm Lake Carmel FD members were dispatched to a one car motor vehicle accident with injury in front of Advanced Automotive on Rt 52. One person was transported to an area hospital while fire crews from Lake Carmel FD with assistance from Carmel FD keeping the road closed. Road is closed for an extended period of time while NYSEG replaces the utility pole.
