Over the weekend, the Lake Carmel Fire Department took part in a multi-agency mass casualty incident drill organized by the Kent Volunteer Fire Department. The scenario involved an active shooter situation at the Chuang Yen Monastery. This exercise allowed emergency service personnel from various agencies to practice their respective roles, with police securing the scene initially and EMS and Fire personnel arriving to triage and assist the victims. We extend our gratitude to the Kent Fire Department and all participating agencies for providing this valuable training opportunity.
