At around 11:25, the Lake Carmel Fire Department was notified of a motor vehicle accident involving a head-on collision and minor injuries. First responders arrived at the scene to find a three-car accident blocking the roadway. They assessed five patients, provided traffic control, and transported one patient to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Units stayed on-site until tow companies cleared the vehicles from the road.
