On December 21st at approximately 10:00 AM, the Lake Carmel Fire Department, Town of Kent Police, and Town of Patterson Ambulance responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 52 in Lake Carmel.

Lake Carmel FD units 17-1-1 and 17-1-2 arrived first, followed by 17-3-1, 17-6-1, 17-8-2, and 17-FlyCar-1. Firefighters secured the scene, ensured vehicle safety, mitigated hazards, and assisted EMS with the evaluation of all occupants.

Fire department members also provided traffic control and scene safety while vehicles were removed and the roadway was cleared.

Crews went back in service approximately 40 minutes after dispatch
