| At 1546 hrs Lake Carmel was dispatched for a reported unknown type fire. A second caller reported a house on fire at 31 Friend Ln. 17-1-2 requested the automatic mutual aid plan for structure fires be implemented and Carmel and Kent were requested for Tankers and Brewster with an Engine. Battalion 5 and the Fire Investigation Team were also dispatched. Upon arrival of the first engine 17-2-3 layed a 3 in supply line up the small driveway. The building was laddered and a line stretched and the fire was quickly extinguished. The fire was placed under control with in 45 minutes of dispatch. Carmel and Mahopac were requested with an engine each for manpower. |
