At 145pm Putnam 911 dispatched Lake Carmel Fire Dept to a reported house fire. Upon arrival of Asst Chief Kenny Launzinger he found smoke coming from an attic area. A call went out for mutual aid from surrounding agencies. With the assistance of Kent Police the all the tenants were evacuated. The fire was located in the attic and quickly extinguished by first arriving crews.
