| On Monday, October 5th, members of the Lake Carmel Fire Department had the pleasure of visiting Kent Elementary School to share important fire prevention and safety lessons with students! 👩🚒👨🚒
Our firefighters spent time showing students our fire apparatus, explaining the tools and equipment we use, and demonstrating what firefighters look like when wearing their full protective gear! 🚒🧑🚒
One of the most important parts of fire prevention education is helping children understand that firefighters are there to help, even when they're wearing masks and protective equipment! ❤️
🔥 Fire safety starts at a young age! We encourage families to continue these conversations at home by practicing fire escape plans, checking smoke alarms, and reminding children what to do in an emergency.
A huge THANK YOU to Kent Elementary School for welcoming us! We loved seeing so many curious faces, answering questions, and sharing our passion for fire safety with the next generation.
