This morning on an unusually warm February morning we had a Ice Rescue drill on Lake Carmel. Even with the recent warm weather the ice was still approx. 5-7 inches in some spots. It's these conditions that make this type of training so important. Not far from this location, approx. 5 ice fisherman were enjoying the mild weather.
